Here is a little bit about us :)

Hi- I'm Brent, also known as Capt. Smiley. 

I am a locally licensed, STWC-95 certified Captain.

Spanish Wells SeaVentures was first established in 1994 by Capt. Ron (my father). I was just 15 years old when my father and I started taking guests out on the boat. Since being in the boat from such a young age, I have the local knowledge of places and know the area of our beautiful island like the back of my hand!

I am a 14th generation decent of the original Eleutheran Adventures that settled here in 1648. My ancestors shipwrecked on the Devils Backbone Reef and swam to shore where they had found, what is now called, "Preacher's Cave".

I was born in Florida but moved to Eleuthera not to long afterwards. I am a Bahamian and grew up in Eleuthera. I enjoyed fishing off of our dock, enjoying swimming and beaching, picking freshly grown fruits out of our garden....just a young boy who loved nature! A few years later we then settled on Spanish Wells where that became HOME.

There is no place I would rather be than to be out on the water and exploring what surrounds us.

We love sharing our beautiful home with others and can't wait to share it with you! It will definitely be a day to remember, guaranteed!
