Captain

Hi- I'm Brent, also known as Capt. Smiley. 

I am a locally licensed, STWC-95 certified Captain.

Spanish Wells SeaVentures was first established in 1994 by Capt. Ron (my father). I was just 15 years old when my father and I started taking guests out on the boat. Since being in the boat from such a young age, I have the local knowledge of places and know the area of our beautiful island like the back of my hand! 

​

I was born in Florida but moved to Eleuthera not to long afterwards. I am a Bahamian and grew up in Eleuthera. I enjoyed fishing off of our dock, enjoying swimming and beaching, picking freshly grown fruits out of our garden....just a little boy who loved nature! A few years later we then settled on Spanish Wells where that became HOME. 

There is no place I would rather be than to be out on the water and exploring what surrounds us.

I am a 13th generation decent of the original Eleutheran Adventures that settled here in 1648. My ancestors shipwrecked on the Devils Backbone Reef and swam to shore where they had found, what is now called, "Preacher's Cave".

​

We love sharing our beautiful home with others and can't wait to share it with you! It will definitely be a day to remember, guaranteed! 🌴☀️🌺

First Mate

Hi- I'm Kalina.

​

There is nothing that I would rather be doing than being out on the boat! The beauty around us is unreal and we want to be able to share it with you!

​

I was born and raised in the Bahamas. I grew up on a Bahamian island called Abaco, but have always enjoyed visiting Spanish Wells as a kid.  

Fast forward...Capt. Smiley and I are now married and are enjoying every moment of being together!

​

I am what you call the "concierge" of Spanish Wells SeaVentures. I enjoy taking pictures of the beauty surrounding us and that is why I will be on board to capture amazing photos and videos all of the great times YOU will have on board with us! When I am not there, don't worry, Capt. Smiley can take your photos too ;)

Don't worry about holding your phone all the time, worry about enjoying the beauty around you.

I will send you photos and videos to you at the end of our fun day!
